For over a decade, Ksyrium Elite has stood for reliability, light weight and versatility. This latest version includes the same high-tech features as the Ksyrium SL at an even more attainable price. Key updates include a wider rim shape, now 17mm internally. When combined with our 25mm Yksion Pro tires, the result is an 18% increase in air volume. And extra volume means you can lower tire pressure by 20 PSI while maintaining the same rolling resistance as a narrower rim and tire. The result is improved comfort without sacrificing efficiency. And despite the lower tire pressure, the extra air volume means pinch flats are less likely. Beyond that, our patented Fore Drilling creates a stronger connection between the spokes and the rim, and Isopulse lacing improves stability and lateral stiffness under heavy loads such as sprinting or climbing. All these performance gains are achieved without added weight thanks to our exclusive patented ISM 4D rim technology. This process strategically removes excess material from the rim while maintaining it around the spokes, where tension is applied. The result is a wide yet super-light rim that weighs only 405g. The rims are fitted with 25mm Yksion Pro tires that feature a supple 127 TPI casing, Kevlar beads, and a well-balanced rubber compound that offers the best blend of grip and rolling resistance. They weigh just 210g and feature front/rear specific tread designs for smooth, dependable handling in dry or wet conditions. The finish on the new Ksyrium Elite has also been upgraded with a combination of matte and gloss finishes. The wheel is available in four color options depending on your preference: black on black; black with red highlights; black with blue highlights; and black with white highlights.
