For every adventure down the road. The Felt VR40 is a comfortable and efficient endurance bike for discovering a new road cycling experience.
Striking the ideal balance between all-day comfort and high-performance cycling, the custom butted 6061 aluminium frame features an endurance-oriented geometry which offers a comfortable and efficient riding position.
The VR offers a smooth ride, even over rough road surfaces, thanks to the endurance-tuned compliance. The rear triangle features bridgeless seat stays that are positioned outboard of the seatube and are tuned to ensure maximum rear wheel compliance while maintaining lateral stiffness for efficient power transfer. The fork has carbon fibre blades which further improve comfort by absorbing ‘road buzz’.
Ready to take on rough road adventures tyre clearance is greater than most road bikes and the VR can handle up to 30mm wide tyres. Through axles front and rear add stiffness while mudguard mounts allow you to fit extra winter protection.
With a super-compact chainset and wide range cassette the Shimano Tiagra 2x10 speed drivetrain gives you reliable shifting with all the gears that you need to ride every road, including the steepest of climbs. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer powerful stopping control in all weather conditions.
