These Adidas Response 5" Running Shorts are developed with Climalite which is a fabric designed for activities in warm conditions. Its most common form is an innovative design that features cotton on the outer fabric and a cool-to-the-touch synthetic material underneath. While many moisture wicking products are mostly polyester, Climalite's cotton and the synthetic combo make for a softer feel. As sweat builds, the synthetic fibres inside of Adidas Climalite garments go to work, pushing the sweat away from the body to the outer cotton layer where it's quickly evaporated. A hydrophilic finish directs moisture away from the athlete's body, while the lightweight polyester based construction will keep you cool and help avoid overheating.
For a comfortable fit, the running shorts are designed with an elasticated waistband with drawcord which enables easy adjustment, while the sweat guard pocket keeps your valuables safe and dry. Lastly, with contrast piping on the side of the shorts, it adds colour and the reflective details add enhanced visibility in low light conditions.
