Pietro Santini founded Santini Maglificio Sportivo (SMS) in 1965 to produce wool, knitted cycle clothing. They've come a long way since and now are the official sponsor of the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) as well as a proud official technical sponsor of their national tour - the Giro d'Italia - producing the leader jerseys as well as approximately 800 amateur clubs and teams every year!
